South Patagonia
Torres del Paine, El Calafate and El Chalten > the district of Glaciers
Chili and my trek in Torres del Paine with Adam, med student from Boston and Go from Japan
Lets go! 10 hours of trekking with a big backpack, tent, sleeping , cooking kit
yes, there is sunlight from 5 am to 11 pm. THe hardest trek i have done in my life.people generally do this trek called the W in 4 to 5 days, we did it in 3.
Wow

Man, this is my first time seeing a glacier
Walking hard was worth it > beautiful salida del sol _sunrise_ on the Torres del Paine. It is 5 am, freezing cool, impossible to boil water but good moment for a group picture
f
To my surprise Americans can not drive a stick. Adam almost killed us! Good laugh with our rented VW

But still, he got us here . Perito Moreno in Argentina

To my surprise, Ice is Celeste blue, just like the flag.
Trek El Chalten seems like a walk in a park for Adam and I after the W
Cute
On the left is fitz roy, a montaineers heaven.
See glacier, snap glacier>next > walk the glacier
Gear up, pay 70 USD and u r gone

> how Adam and I had the worst pasta meal you can imagine.? have u ever put in the pasta in cold water? Very bad idea
Once again I confirm > the best Americans are OUTSIDE the USA
Adam was a really good travel companion. Curious, knowledgeable, funny, open minded. Kid has an ingineer undergrade degree, went to the MIT and is now in medschool and still cool headed
